About This Event
Join the College of Staten Island Track & Field program for an exciting day of throwing instruction with three-time Olympian and American Record Holder Rudy Winkler. Widely recognized as one of the top hammer throwers in the world, Winkler has represented Team USA at the 2016, 2020, and 2024 Olympic Games and currently holds the American Record in the hammer throw.
This camp is designed for high school, and collegiate throwers looking to improve their technique, training methods, and competitive performance. Participants will receive hands-on coaching in the hammer throw, shot put, discus, and weight throw, while learning the technical fundamentals, drills, strength development strategies, and mental approach that have helped Rudy compete on the world's biggest stage.
